This study is to investigate whether group art therapy adopting self-reflection helps improve psychological well-being. The group therapy consisted of 15 sessions focusing on their self-reflection. This program was carried out once a week from May, 27 to September, 9, 2016. Participants voluntarily applied for the program in the Internet PR. They were arranged into 2 groups(10 people in each group) at random. One group is experiment and the other is the control group. Mann-Whitney U test was employed for the analysis of pre-test scores, the comparison of self-reflection scales, and psychological well-being scales. For the post-test scores comparison, Wilcoxon's singed rank test was used. The participants' reports were also qualitatively analyzed in order to examine what changes they experienced in terms of self-reflection and psychological well-being during the program. The experimental group showed significant improvement in both self-reflection and psychological well-being whereas the control group did not show any significant change. In conclusion, it can be said that this group art therapy program contributed to improving self-reflection and psychological well-being of the participants.
